CHRISTMAS IS ON THE WAY!

HEY ALL!! CHRISTMAS IS ALMOST HERE! I HAVE HAD SUCH A BLAST PREPPING FOR IT THIS YEAR, QUINCY AND BLAINE ARE AT SUCH FUN AGES AND THIS WEEKEND WE'LL BE GOING TO UTAH TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS WITH THE MERRILL'S. MY COUSIN IS A NANNY FOR A WEALTHY FAMILY DOWN THERE AND THEY HAVE A 2MILLION DOLLAR, 18 BEDROOM CABIN THEY ARE LETTING US ALL USE!! HOW FUN IS THAT? I CANNOT REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I SLEFT UNDER THE SAME ROOF AS ALL OF MY COUSINS. WE'LL DO OUR TRADITIONAL NATIVITY RE-INACTMENT, WHICH HAS ALWAYS BEEN KIND OF SILLY TO ME AS I GOT OLDER BUT NOW THAT WE ALL HAVE LITTLE ONES, ITS GOING TO BE WAY FUN! MY COUSIN, CARTER IS BACK FROM A MISSION IN AFRICA AND WE'RE ALL EXCITED TO SEE HIM. I CANNOT IMAGINE BEING AWAY FROM EVERYTHING I KNOW FOR TWO WHOLE YEARS, THOSE MISSIONARY'S ARE GREAT, STRONG PEOPLE THATS FOR SURE! WELL, I WANTED TO GIVE AN UPDATE OF US-- WE JUST GOT NEW BLINDS IN THE HOUSE AN THEY LOOK AWESOME, BY BATHROOM IS DONE AND I GO IN AND STAND THERE AND JUST STARE IN COMPLETE AWE SOMETIMES. I ADDED SOME PICTURES OF JESUS AND OUR CHURCH TO THE BLOG, MY WARD IS SUCH AN AWESOME WARD TO BE A PART OF. I AM REALLY LUCKY TO HAVE THE CHURCH IN MY LIFE AND WHEN MY THREE YEAR OLD KNOWS HOW TO PRAY, KNOWS WHO JESUS IS AND SINGS "I AM A CHILD OF GOD" I KNOW ITS THE RIGHT THING, FOR ME AND OUR KIDS. WELL, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND I'LL BE POSTING NEW PICS SOON!! LOVE YOU ALL!

Hello All!! THIS IS SORT OF A TRIBUTE FOR My little sister, Alysha, who is 14 yrs old has had an article written about her and some of many her successes. She is such an inspiration to me and the rest of my family. She does an A+ job on everything she does. She was born with a form of Spina Bifida and cannot feel her legs from the hip down. Imagine for a moment how that would be in everyday life, I mean talk about trials and tribulations. She rides horses both for fun and competes with them. This amazes me as I am scared stiff of any and all horses, well, okay maybe not the mini ones that are the size of a big dog. I have never in my life met anyone so brave and determined as she. She has had about 30 or so major invasive surgeries already in her young life. She deals with it the best she can though, and is a real trooper. I don't have any brothers, just my two gorgeous sisters and I am so lucky because of it. These two have been there for me when I felt I was so alone, they have helped me in sooooo many ways. I love them both and have such gratitude towards God for his gift of my knowing them. Because of them, my daughter Quincy, my step-son Blaine, and Colby my Husband, I strive to be a good person and a good example (since I am the oldest sister) But they have Truley been the example for me. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!! I AM THANKFUL FOR MY LIFE AND THE PEOPLE IN IT.

Hello Everyone!! Well, Halloween was super busy but the kids had fun seeing all their Great-Grandparents and Grandparents. We went to our Trunk or Treat down at the church and we had a great time. Lindsie is here at our house right now and we love having her visit, Quincy loves her Aunt Lin. We are excited for Quincy to have some cousins, Lins' expecting.....how fun!! I am very much looking forward to the holidays this year. Our new Family Pictures are finally posted and I am very pleased with them. Colby worked on the house this weekend getting it prepped for siding and they took down some of our rain gutters...then, low and behold we had rain yesterday and today. Its kinda funny. Well, we wish all our Family and Friends well and we remember you all in our prayers.

Hello Everyone!! I am new at blogging....so bare with me! Where to begin.... Life is great; the kids are doing well and we are looking forward to the holidays this year. Quincy is at a truly fun age, she'll be 3 Jan. 30th., so, she cannot wait for Santa to come. Blaine is 10 and I am sure he is excited, although I am unsure as to whether or not he knows the "secret" about Santa.
I viewed Annie and Krishel's blogs and had to start my own, how fun this is to get the updates on everyone's family and see cute pictures of everyone. Quincy is just getting over Pneumonia--can you believe that!! I was shocked when the Doc told me thats what she had. But she's doing really well, Daddy's home with her today. I was home with her Friday and yesterday. Blaine is trying hard in school and is doing good. He is such a wonderful big brother. I'll be posting pictures soon... Devrie took our family pictures a few weeks ago and I hope the get those soon so everyone can see! Colby got a promotion at work about 3 mo. ago and he's loving the new position. He gets a company vehicle that we get to use for personal use and he has alot of flexibility that he didn't have before. I got my hair cut, like short! And I am loving my job, I work for one the best families you'll ever have the honor to know, so its great. I have been here 5 years and could honestly see myself working here forever. Quincy's going to be a fairy-princess for halloween and I am coming to work as a witch on Friday. I still am not sure if we get Blaine on halloween, or not.... well, have a great day everyone!!!
